I have been going to Mera for over 50 years, and I knew the bar restaurant well, and also the founder, Piero. Now, the new management has done an excellent job of renovation, and a truly beautiful and welcoming place has been created in perfect mountain style and with a spectacular view of the Rosa. Few dishes, but of high quality, such as the excellent polenta concia and the chamois stew. Fair prices. Well done!

Really beautiful location, with a splendid view of the mountains. A few meters from the chairlift, which takes you down to Scopello. We had lunch today at midday, and it was a pleasant discovery. We had a cheese platter, with goat toma and cow toma. And then we had two portions of polenta concia, a real delight on the palate. There is a well-stocked wine list with wines from the area and beyond, from Gattinara by Travaglini to Boca by Tenute Guardasole; in short, important labels. We had a glass of Nebbiolo and a glass of Arneis. We avoided dessert, but only because we were full.Really honest prices we spent 44, and they offered a gentian bitters.Better to book given the influx of people. Also very important for those who have a dog, our 4-legged friends are also accepted.

A super discovery! Very nice place, modern, but warm and welcoming (what you expect from a place in the Alps), with a spectacular view of the valley, excellent food, a few (thank goodness) classic local dishes; but revised in a modern key and with seasonal materials. The bar; it has a spectacular terrace, where aperitifs are served. Super recommended!

Lovely location, with friendly staff, delicious coffee and great food. We had the Pappardelle pasta dish (house special) and the wine risotto and both were excellent.
